What's the difference between DJ courses and mentorship?
Courses teach you techniques and button-pushing. Mentorship shows you how to build an actual career. I won't just teach mixing — I'll help you find your sound, book gigs, and navigate the industry. Think of it as the difference between learning recipes and becoming a chef.
Do I need expensive equipment to start?
Not at all. "I can't afford CDJs" is what I hear most. You can start with just a laptop and free software. Building your skills matters more than gear — and knowing what to buy comes later.
Can you mentor me if I'm not local?
Definitely. Half my students are here in Edinburgh, half are worldwide. All sessions work perfectly online. The intensive workshops can be done virtually or in-person if you fancy visiting Scotland.
What if I'm not cut out to be a DJ?
That's why we start with a free consultation. If I think you'd thrive better as a producer, promoter, or something else in music, I'll be straight with you. I'd rather point you toward success than take your money for the wrong path.
